The Icing on the Cake for Your AJency

As 2022 comes to an end and we enter our third year in business at Your AJency, I had the chance to get back to my business roots on a trip to Chicago. Whilst there, although very busy with our amazing stateside clients, it gave me the chance to take time out and reflect on what we have achieved in the last year and where we still want to improve and strive for more! Just in the last few weeks, we’ve had more exciting news at Your AJency HQ and we are so thrilled to share that we’ve been shortlisted as a Top UK Social Media Adviser in the E Nation Top Adviser Awards 2022.

2022 was the year of change for Your AJency. Our team grew, we worked with clients on 4 different continents (a dream come true), and we continue work with some inspirational ambitious women. I am so happy to work with Monique who is based in the USA, and Danni from The Creative Copy Co, based in the UK, works with us on our blog and content too. I have also been lucky to have Fiona at Boss Your PR by my side and pushing me out of my comfort zone when it comes to my own visibility. You can read her top tips for getting visible on our blog too!

2022 was also the year we expanded Your AJency with a move back to the UK. I have done international moves before but never whilst trying to run a business. It had its challenges and I still have the final pieces of the puzzle to solve, which I have to resolve before the end of the US tax year! Oh, the fun and joys of being a business owner. Importantly though, I had a real shift in mindset and actually decided to invest in my business more to help me reach the lofty goals I have set myself and also to invest in myself as a business owner. Happily, the investment has paid off! We have significantly grown as a business this year, we are more visible across our platforms and we are being recognised for the work we do.

We scooped the Top strategic global marketing agency in Chicago from Stellar Awards earlier this year. Our first USA award, it was a ‘pinch-me moment’! Last month we were shortlisted as a top 5 Social Media adviser in the UK in E Nations. This is another ‘pinch-me moment’, and particularly special as we only expanded into the UK in July.

Lots of our success has come from our ever-growing, always supportive community at Your AJency and so, this is where I ask for your help. It would be the absolute icing on the cake to take the title of Best Social Media Adviser in the UK! I’m asking if you could vote for Your AJency in the awards to help us bag the title! It would really mean the world if you vote. Voting closes 15th November, so watch this space and fingers crossed. It literally takes a second to vote for us and you can do it here - you’ll find us in the Top Social Media Adviser category.

As the year comes to an end and following the recent launch of our mentoring services, I have been looking for ways to give back as an agency. I am thrilled to share that I was recently selected to take part in the E Nation ‘Help to Grow’ Program. I will be working with the Association of Business Mentors this week and will get some of their expert training so that I can take part in their incredible work and volunteering 10 hours to work with someone they have recognised would benefit from mentoring.

“76% of people think mentors are important, but only 37% have one”

In this recent Forbes article, it shows the huge benefit of mentoring and I wanted us to not only support amazing clients but someone who isn’t in a position to be able to use our services to reap the benefits. But also why I have decided to open up more of my time to support others through mentoring.

If you have 2 minutes, it really would mean the world to get your vote and end the year with a bang! Thanks for your continued support and please reach out either here or via Instagram if you think mentoring could be right for you or would just love to connect.
