The Power of Connection: 5 ways I Help Female Founders grow their business

As a female founder myself, I understand the struggles and challenges that come with building a successful business. One of the biggest hurdles many female founders face is getting the visibility they deserve. At Your AJency, my mission is to change that, by offering mentoring and strategic storytelling to empower and uplift women entrepreneurs.

In this blog, I’ll shed light on five key aspects of my work that have helped my clients time and time again to grow their business and gain the visibility they want and deserve.

I’m also so excited to announce that I will be launching a brand new series on my Instagram highlighting more of the amazing female entrepreneurs that I help and how. So, if you're not already following me, now is the perfect time to start. In the meantime, read on to see just how Your AJency can help you and what I have done for some of my clients.

How Can Your AJency help grow your business?

Strategic Storytelling: Creating a Narrative That Resonates

Storytelling is a powerful marketing tool that can captivate an audience and leave a lasting impact. Through strategic storytelling, I help female founders craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate their vision, mission, and values. By refining their stories, we enhance their ability to connect with potential investors, partners, and customers.

Wildwood Studio and Photography

Your AJency has been working with Wildwood since we started. A photography studio like no other, in just two years we have created a brand new revenue stream for this client. Now alongside their award-winning photography business, Wildwood is a renowned events venue and has been used by most of the top Chicago event organisers. Their events have even featured in PartySlate and Plann.

Mentorship: Guiding Female Founders on their Entrepreneurial Journey

Mentorship plays a crucial role in the success of any entrepreneur. As a mentor, I provide guidance, support, and expertise to female founders and open up new opportunities. I am connected to a whole variety of industries and personalities.  Through personalised bi-weekly sessions, I help clients navigate the challenges they encounter, hold them accountable and offer them a fresh pair of eyes with the new perspective we often need when working as a solo female entrepreneur. By sharing my own experiences and lessons learned, I empower and inspire my clients to overcome their obstacles and reach their full potential.

Rubino Wilson

Lauren and Danielle from RW Studio were lost on what to post and how to share their story on social media. They also wanted to get their products and workshops into new spaces to increase their brand awareness. In just three months and with our help, they have started posting more consistently thanks to a strategic plan we created with them. They’ve also updated their website to make it more user-friendly and a better representation of all they offer. It’s all starting to convert as I also landed them one of their dream locations and they are now hosting workshops at Daylesford Farm and in London in the next few months. Check them out as their workshops and products are stunning!

Tanja Pleis Photography

I’ve mentored Tanja and worked with her to create the best content for her target audience. Our working together has led to a viral reel, with 3 million views on an account which at the time only had 1000 followers. Since working with Your AJency, that has grown to 47,000.

Strategic Connections: Unlocking Opportunities for Growth

This is what fuels me! I love this.

Connection is the key to success in the business world. I thrive on connecting people and creating strategic partnerships that lead to mutual growth. By leveraging my network, I facilitate introductions between female founders and potential investors, collaborators, and industry experts. These connections pave the way for collaborations, funding opportunities, and invaluable mentorship, enabling female founders to scale their businesses and achieve their goals.

Peppermint Wellness

We’re currently working with Suzy at Peppermint Wellness to build a list of leads for her corporate workshops. Either by tapping into my own contacts or looking at companies with the right fit, we’re working on a strategy so that Suzy can approach her leads with renewed confidence. We’re also optimising her LinkedIn and digital presence so her dream company collaborations can see the incredible value that her expertise can bring.

Building a Supportive Community: Fostering Collaboration and Empathy

Building a supportive community is essential for female founders to thrive. Through various initiatives, I foster a sense of belonging and facilitate collaboration among women entrepreneurs. By organizing events, workshops, and networking sessions, I create spaces for sharing knowledge, experiences, and resources. I firmly believe that when women support women, extraordinary things can happen.

Tanja Pleis Photography

After supporting Tanja with a rebrand earlier this year, I have since connected Tanja with other women that can add to her current service offering. Tanja’s unique transformative photoshoots mean that many of her clients come to her at a transitional point in their lives. To offer more to Tanja’s audience, we’ve launched a Facebook group connecting her clients with other female-owned businesses (who offer everything from manifestation to styling) to create a welcoming community that helps them feel their best.

Amplifying Visibility: Sharing Success Stories That Inspire

Celebrating success stories is an integral part of what I do. I aim to amplify the visibility of female founders by sharing their achievements, challenges, and unique journeys. Through my brand new Instagram series, I will be showcasing inspiring stories and insights from successful women entrepreneurs. By shining a spotlight on these remarkable individuals, I hope to inspire others and highlight the incredible talent and innovation within the female founder community.

Over the last year I’ve secured features in national publications and communities where my clients’ target audiences hang out. I’ve built relationships with journalists and within communities I am a member of to get my clients more visibility. Plus by getting myself exposure, I can act as an even louder cheerleader (where appropriate) for my own clients and use their stories to tell my own.

Ultimately working with Your AJency is the chance for you to have someone there to connect the dots and remind you exactly why you set out to achieve what you dreamed of. Sometimes as female founders, we lose our way and it can be hard to see which path will take us to where we want to go. My role is to help you find it, no matter where it goes, and no matter how far you want to take it. I have a huge community of contacts just waiting to be connected with the right female-owned business both in the UK, and across the globe.

If you think you could use a helping hand and a cheerleader that goes above and beyond the usual 9-5 agency support, get in touch with me today.
